CASH Project proposal main objective is to bring aeronautical SMEs into the world of Concurrent Engineering assessing and validating the new common way of working standards, processes, methods and tools which should be available as results from European Commission funded Projects in Aeronautics (see Enhance as an example). The goal of the CASH proposal is to complement the Concurrent Engineering effort by leading research to evaluate and master the complexity of new Information Technology to adapt package and disseminate methods, means, best practices to the intention of SMEs with the aim of SMEs implementation and validation. Even if modest when compared with large project budgets, CASH will confirm the most promising collaborative standards becoming a reality for the aeronautical supply chain.
